ROCK STABILITY
Roots penetrate joints and defects in the rock and cause 'root jacking'. The pressures generated by growing roots can move large rock masses. Roads, houses, factories and publicly frequented areas below cliffs or rock outcrops that harbor large vegetation or trees, are all potential targets for rockfall and/or tree collapse.
TREE FELLING
Felling of mature trees on high cliffs in dense scrub is potentially very hazardous and calls for a high degree of knowledge and ability. All work is carried out using rigorous hazard identification with an attention to detail and safety.
SPRAY APPLICATION
Our clients have wide-ranging requirements from complete elimination of vegetation to targeting specific species, either by selective herbicides or with our team’s plant recognition skills. Spraying may be carried out at the same time as remedial slope works such as rock scaling and tree felling.
SELECTIVE CLEARANCE

SCRUB CLEARANCE AND REPLANTING
Grasses and scrub are generally beneficial on soil slopes because their roots help bind the soil together, minimising erosion via rain and wind scour. We can clear undesirable vegetation and replant to suit your requirements.
